Personal Protective Gear: The weather is warming up and people may be starting to get their bicycles out of storage. When riding a bicycle, scooter, skateboard, or when rollerblading, personnel are required to wear a helmet. Additional protective gear such as elbow and knee pads are recommended when skating or skateboarding. In addition, military personnel in uniform who are outside during the hours of darkness need to wear a reflective belt.

Lock It Up: Just a reminder to lock your homes and vehicles as a means of protecting your property from theft.

DoDDS Accelerated Withdraw Date: The DoDDS Accelerated Withdrawal Date for the spring semester is May 14. If PCSing personnel want their child to get credit for the entire school year, the earliest date they can remove them from school is May 14. Students must coordinate with their classroom teachers in order to make sure that all work for the remainder of the school year is completed prior to them PCSing. If personnel need to remove their child prior to May 14, they will need to re-enroll him/her in the school district at the new PCS location in order to complete this school year.
