Slippery Weasel course offers winter driving instruction
MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Staff Sergeant Trenton Mall, 301st Intelligence Squadron analyst, performs a high-speed, controlled skid on a circular course during the first Slippery Weasel training on Security Hill Jan. 15. The two-hour training course conducted by the 35th Fighter Wing safety flight teaches Misawa community members how to drive in adverse conditions in a risk-free environment. Spring has sprung at Misawa

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Darla Laubacher, a 35th Maintenance Squadron fuels system technician, picks up a piece of trash at Misawa City, Japan, Oct. 28, 2017. Airmen from Misawa Air Base covered more than half a mile in length and tooking time to sort out recyclable materials from combustible trash.
