MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan - A U.S. Air Force pilot assigned to the 14th Fighter Squadron opens the canopy of an F-16 Fighting Falcon during the Beverly Sunrise 25-03 exercise at Misawa Air Base, Japan, March 18, 2025. Consistent training allows F-16 pilots to maintain peak proficiency, adapt to evolving threats, and execute missions with precision. By honing their combat skills, they enhance their ability to deter adversaries, support allied operations, and uphold security in the Indo-Pacific region.
