A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 14 Fighter Squadron, Misawa Air Base, Japan, comes to a stop after hooking onto the mobile aircraft arresting system (MAAS) at the Sam Ratulangi International Airport, Manado, Indonesia, June 17, 2019. The MAAS is a contingency airfield asset that allows for the safe retrieval of tail hook aircraft during an in-flight emergency.
