Seal deal
An Antarctic fur seal lays on the ground at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, Dec. 6, 2017. The seals were the first non-human life Woodard experienced during his tour. Antarctic fur seals are one of nine species worldwide. They were almost hunted to extinction for their fur. With their ability to turn their rear flippers forward, they can also walk on land.
