Resilient paddling on Lake Ogawara

A U.S. Navy team participates in a regatta competition during the first Team Misawa Resilient Relationships and Appreciation Day at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Aug. 18, 2017. Teams worked together, crafting their own boats to race during an obstacle course. The 35th Fighter Wing Chapel Corps coordinated the event as a morale booster testing members' pillars of Comprehensive Airman Fitness—mental, physical, social and spiritual—which promoted a sense of community and equipped personnel to perform optimally.
