Ship early to avoid going postal

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airman 1st Class Julian Bran, 35th Communication Squadron postal clerk, stacks packages to make room for more incoming mail. From mid-November to mid-January the post office receives and delivers more than 640,000 pounds of mail, more than four times their normal capacity. With the holiday mailing season under full swing, the Post Office has extended its hours of operation to allow customers more time to send or pick up packages.
