BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- High Explosive Incendiary PGU-28A/B 20mm cannon rounds are fed through a 'replenisher' (foreground) into a Universal Ammunition Loading System (UALS). UALS are then used to transfer the cannon rounds directly into F-16 weapon systems. The new PGU cannon rounds were first validated at a firing range Feb. 22, then used in battle against insurgents east of Baghdad Feb. 26. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Ken Hall)
