MISAWA AB, JAPAN-- Joint Tactical Air Controller Staff Sgt. Krystoffer Bowman, from the 604th Air Support Operation Squadron, Camp Red Cloud, South Korea, directs aircraft to a specific target while several Misawa Airmen, run toward a building where insurgents are believe to be hiding May 8. Two JTACs from South Korea were sent to Misawa on temporary duty May 1-18 to help Misawa Airmen practice their close-air-upport mission, convoy duty and supporting ground commander in Iraq.
