Sultan of Brunei gets first-hand glimpse of U.S. Airpower

Brunei Darussalam -- A MiG 29 from the Royal Malaysian Air Force releases flares while performing during the 3rd Biennial Brunei Darussalam International Defense Exhibition in Brunei Darussalam July 6. BRIDEX 2011, themed "Mapping Future Security and Technological Challenges," was organized by the Ministry of Defense together with the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defense and Strategic Studies. Two F-16 Fighting Falcons and 15 members from the 35th Fighter Wing from Misawa Air Base, Japan, represented the U.S. Air Force and Pacific Air Forces during the four-day event for the first time.
