CE provides runway quick-fix

U.S. Air Force Airmen from 35th Civil Engineer Squadron airfield damage control flight work together to build a fiberglass mat to cover three craters created after a simulated missile attack during an Operational Readiness Exercise at Misawa Air Base, Japan, June 19, 2013. A mock runway area gives these Airmen the opportunity to practice repairing airfields in a realistic environment without actually digging holes on the active runway or taxiways.
