Fuel King
Senior Airman Justin Neal, deployed from the 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron, is is presented with a coin for excellence from Lt. Col. Robert Hoff, 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron commander. Airman Neal recieved the coin for breaking the record for most fuel pumped in one month at his deployed location in Southwest Asia. He pumped 2.1 million gallons of fuel. In recognition of his efforts, a 2.1 million gallon fuel tank was named "Tank Neal."

Misawa families send care packages downrange
MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Jules Williams, 4, creates a design on the side of a care package Sept. 5 in the 35th Security Forces Squadron conference room. The spouses of deployed SFS Airmen got together to send off care packages for their loved ones. Children decorated the boxes with well wishes with the help of their parents. The squadron Readiness Assistant Volunteer Karen Rinehart organized the evening, which included pizza, chips, soda, water and homemade cupcakes. The families put together more than 50 packages.
