Phase I of exercise Vigilant Ace 16 kicked off during the early morning of Nov. 1 as Airmen from the 35th Fighter Wing worked tirelessly to generate F-16 Fighting Falcons for an exercise mission to Osan Air Base, South Korea.

As the day unfolded, members from the 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron and 35th Force Support Squadron out-processed Airmen for their trip to Osan AB, while 35th Maintenance Squadron Airmen worked around the clock to put jets in the sky. Exercises like Vigilant Ace are designed to test the ability of Airmen in Pacific Air Forces to quickly and precisely carry out the mission of power projection in the Indo-Asian-Pacific region.
