MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airmen assigned to the 35th Fighter Wing participate in Wing Sports Day at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Sept. 3, 2026. The annual event brought members from across the wing together for a full day of athletic and recreational competition, including volleyball, basketball, dodgeball, weightlifting, ESports and more. Wing Sports Day provides Airmen opportunities to represent their squadrons, strengthen relationships across career fields and build esprit de corps outside their normal work environments. By fostering physical fitness, unit pride and a stronger sense of community, the event reinforces the teamwork and cohesion that support daily mission execution across the 35th Fighter Wing.
