The Cafe Aomori, located in the collocated club, is making changes to improve service for its customers, including longer operating hours.

Based on feedback from customers, Cafe Aomori extended its hour of operations beginning March 1. The cafe's extended hours are from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Previously, the cafe was only open to 1 p.m.

The Cafe Aomori is a member of the Starbucks "We Proudly Brew" program.

"We offer pretty much everything you would find at a normal Starbucks franchise, with the exception of the seasonal drinks," said Denis Mansard, general manager. "We've had a lot of people come in who were so happy because they haven't had Starbucks coffee in three months or they had to drive for two hours for it."

Since the grand opening less than two months ago business has been steady and consistent, according to Mr. Mansard. To help combat the occasional long lines customers might experience, a second espresso machine is being installed.

In addition to the bagels, muffins and pastries already offered at the cafe, there are plans for adding additional food items.

"We purchased a new donut machine that will make them right in front of you," said Mr. Mansard. "We are also bringing in a line of desserts from the Cheesecake Factory."

The cafe is offering a special promotion for club members. Club members may receive a free Cafe Aomori travel mug, while supplies last. This mug entitles the club member to a 16 ounce coffee for only $1, a discount off of the normal price.

For those people who may crave a late-night latte, the Cafe Mokuteki will feature a third espresso machine once renovation is complete. The Cafe Mokuteki will offer the same coffee drinks as the Cafe Aomori.

"No one can say that they can't get their Starbucks coffee," said Mr. Mansard. "You'll be able to get it 24 hours a day."
