Firefighters assigned to the 35th Civil Engineer Squadron fire department and Japan Air Self-Defense Force, 3rd Air Wing fire rescue, conduct a bilateral training exercise. Firefighters train nearly every day on different aspects of their jobs, ensuring they are capable and ready to respond to any type of emergency while also staying safe. The exercise consisted of fire fighters attempting to extinguish controlled fires in a variety of scenarios that they may experience in order to better prepare them for real world firefighting.
