The 35th SFS trained JASDF and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) personnel on combat readiness, tactics and concluded with a joint force-on-force simulation training at Camp Defender involving fire team moving tactics, rescuing personnel and initiating flanking maneuvers. During this bi-lateral exercise, 30 members from the 35th SFS trained alongside 70 JASDF and JGSDF members in various combat-readiness scenarios on base. Members rehearsed leadership roles and tactics within a base defense structure during the exercise. The exercise concluded with a graduation and recognition of outstanding JASDF and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force performers who displayed exceptional skills and leadership ability throughout the training.
