USFJ and 5AF commander tours Misawa AB

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Kevin Schneider, the U.S. Forces Japan and Fifth Air Force commander, toured Misawa Air Base, Japan, from Feb 26-28. During his visit he went around the base to see first-hand how Airmen accomplish their unit’s day-to-day mission.

Schneider was previously stationed at Misawa as an F-16 instructor pilot and Wing Weapons Flight commander for the 432nd Operations Support Squadron and then the 13th Fighter Squadron assistant chief of weapons and tactics from Nov. 1993-Dec. 1995.
