Marine explains a field radio

U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Matthew Aldinger, Meteorology and Oceanography weather forecaster, explains how a field radio works to a small group of home-schooled students at Misawa Air Base, Japan, March 24, 2017. Stationed in Iwakuni, Japan, the Marines didn’t have the capability to train for cold weather deployments, deploying the METOC for a 10-day exercise at Misawa AB simulated those field conditions and provided the Marines with essential training for future deployments.
