More than 50 families attend weather balloon release

More than 50 home-schooled students and their families wait patiently as a weather balloon is about to be released as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Meteorology and Oceanography analyst forecasters, 10-day exercise at Misawa Air Base, Japan, March 24, 2017. The exercise provided the Marines from Iwakuni, Japan, with simulated cold weather field conditions and prepared them for future deployments. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. April Quintanilla)
