Airmen Adventures: Cape Shiriyazaki and wild horses
The Shiriyazaki Lighthouse stands tall in the early morning hours at Cape Shiriyazaki, Higashidori, Japan, Sept. 28, 2014. Built in 1876, it was the first western-style lighthouse built in the Tohoku region. Bombarded by the United States Navy during World War II, it is now identified as one of Japan’s 50 lighthouses.
