Misawa turns down the heat

With the warm weather finally here to stay during the spring and summer days, base leadership took part in the loosening of pressure from a valve on a steam header that turned off the heat compartments in base housing at Misawa Air Base, Japan, May 16, 2014. Turning the heating systems off helps the base conserve energy and in turn save dollars. Personnel from the 35th Civil Engineer Squadron are also able to begin providing maintenance on these valves.
