Airmen adventures: Sendai, the "City of Trees"

Crowds of people bustle through the shopping district Chuo-dori, located in Sendai on June 20, 2014. A five minute walk from the Sendai train station, throngs of people frequent the area at seemingly all hours of the day on the hunt for clothes, food and even a quick game of Pachinko. Airy and calm during the day, Technicolor and buzzing with excitement at night, Chuo-dori is fun to stroll through and is the perfect place to pick up the Sendai-famous gyutan, or grilled cow tongue.
