Deatherage, U.S. Forces Japan and 5th Air Force, flanked by Misawa Air Base's oldest and youngest Airmen, cut the cake during a cake-cutting ceremony at the Misawa Air Base's Air Force Ball Sept. 19, 2008. On the Chief's left was the base's oldest Airman, Maj. Pamela Darbyshire, 35th Surgical Operations Squadron Multi-Service Unit Flight commander.
