MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Chief Petty Officer Sam Garana, Naval Air Facility Misawa, gives a healthy serving of dressing to civilian contractor Antonio Ruffin, Naval Air Facility Misawa, during the annual pre-Thanksgiving luncheon held onboard NAF Misawa Nov. 21, 2008. The meal is sponsored each year by the chiefs and officers from the command, as a way of showing appreciation to the Sailors and civilians who work there. This year, more than 600 people were fed more than 1,000 pounds of food, including turkey, ham, dressing, several kinds of vegetables, and a variety of pies.
