Going through the wringer

MISAWA AB, JAPAN -- Brig. Gen. Sam Angelella, 35th Fighter Wing and installation commander, takes his wife's vehicle through the new car wash near the main base gas station after the ribbon cutting ceremony Dec. 29. The 24-hour yen coin-operated car wash has two stalls -- one is automated and the other is manual. The facility cost nearly $650,000 to build. The cost to wash a vehicle ranges from 100 for four minutes in the manual stall and 200 yen for the automated wash.
