Misawa Airmen restarts drive to help villagers

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Tech. Sgt. Shoshannah Cobb, the noncommissioned officer in charge of chapel operations at Misawa, poses with local children in Afghnistan. She has been deployed to Kandahar Airfield, since May. Sergeant Cobb relaunched a clothing drive started by a previous deployed chaplain to help poverished villagers. Sergeant Cobb sent word back through Misawa's chapel requesting clothing donations for children and adults. Sergeant Cobb said what’s needed most are winter clothes and shoes. Sergeant Cobb said anyone who wants to donate, may drop off items to the Misawa Main Base Chapel. (U.S. Air Force photo).
