Sesame Street found on Misawa

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan – Members from the Sesame Street Live perform Jan. 14 at the Potter Fitness Center. Misawa was the first stop on a Pacific-wide tour coordinated by the United Service Organizations to bring cheer and the Sesame Street experience to the children of service members. The performance was based on a program titled Talk, Listen, Connect, which helps children cope with situations they may encounter when their parents return from a deployment. “Being part of the Sesame Street Live has been the most fulfilling tour I’ve been on and I’m sure the rest of the cast would say the same,” said Launey Cooper, USO tour Manager.
