Dragon Eagle Taiko Team says goodbye to mentor in style

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Dressed as Japanese mountain spirits called namahage, members of the Dragon Eagle Taiko Team circle around their master taiko teacher, Kiyotaka Hosoi, as he plays a solo during a performance at the Mokuteki Community Center April 17. Mr. Hosoi taught the advanced class of the American team based out of the Lunney Youth Center after being invited by the team's primary teacher, Kazuko Igarashi. This performance of the song "Namahage" marked the 11th anniversary of the team's formation as well as the final performance of Mr. Hosoi with the team. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
