Training sharpens Airmen's skills

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airman 1st Class Daniel Emery, 35th Security Forces Squadron patrolman, fires an M203 grenade launcher with guidance from Senior Airman Jordan Fisher, 35th SFS combat-arms instructor, during training April 27 at Draughon Range. During the training, students fired M781 practice rounds which are used for qualifying on the M203. The tip of the round is filled with orange chalk that creates a cloud on impact, allowing the instructor to see where the round hit. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jamal D. Sutter)
