MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airman 1st Class Jesse James, a 35th Civil Engineer Squadron Structures Flight structural apprentice, climbs the top of Building 426, after sealing a repair to the building’s roof June 3. Alongside approximately 45 Japanese civilian employees, 23 structures Airmen are accountable for building, repairing and painting base facilities, receiving up to 50 work orders each week.
