CE augmentees head home

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airmen from the 18th Civil Engineer Squadron, based in Kadena Air Base, wait to go home on a U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules here March 30. Electricians, power production specialists and HVAC technicians from Pacific Air Forces bases were brought in to Misawa to help restore the base to pre-earthquake operations. While some recovery operations still remain, 42 civil engineer Airmen have redeployed, leaving approximately 20 augmentee Airmen to assist with remaining efforts. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
