C-17 sends generators to Yokota AB

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan – Airmen load a power generator onboard a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III assigned to Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, at the flightline here April 2. The aircraft, flown by members of the 517th Airlift Squadron assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, took 15 generators to Yokota Air Base, Japan, in support of Operation Tomodachi.
