Youth paintball camp helps kids overcome fear

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Samantha Kandle, daughter of Capt. Justin Kandle, 35th Medical Surgical Squadron, is the last one standing on her team as she picks off opponents one by one during the first day of Youth Paintball Summer Camp, Aug. 1. The camp is open to children and teenagers ages 8 to 18, and teaches how to safely play the game of paintball while learning life lessons, such as, overcoming fear, making friends and team work.
