Misawa Airmen keep our history clean

Airman First Class Dominque McFadden, 35MXS, uses a brush to scrub the side of an F-4 Phantom at Risner Circle, Misawa Air Base 12 Aug. Members of the 35 Fighter Wing volunteered to clean the two prominent aircraft displays near the wing’s headquarters building. The Phantom earned the nickname “MiG Killers” for their successful engagements against the Russian fighter jets during the Vietnam War. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Captain Darrick B. Lee/released)
