Wing leaders help pitch mail for holiday rush

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan – Col. John Griffin, 35th Mission Support Group commander, checks Jocelyn O’Reilly’s identification before giving her a parcel at the base post office, here Dec. 13. During the holiday season, the post office receives an increase in mail flow and relies on volunteers to assist in meeting their duty requirements. The post office has extended its hours from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. on Sundays, until Dec. 23.
