Remain hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day. Avoid caffeinated drinks such as coffee, soda and energy drinks, which often have the opposite effects of hydration. Fireworks are a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday, but they must be used carefully. Many types of fireworks can be found throughout Japan year-round, but they are prohibited on Misawa Air Base.
