Flight with new fight; wing’s F-16s fully upgraded

The last F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 35th Fighter Wing to receive full upgrades takes off Nov. 7, 2012 at Misawa Air Base, Japan. The 35th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron spent the past year configuring the wing’s entire F-16 fleet with the latest war-fighting capabilities, which include a new internal navigation system, avionics program and an on-board oxygen generating system.
