35th SFS leads National Police Week
MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Capt. Leo Martin, 35th Security Forces Squadron commander, gives remarks during Misawa's 2010 National Police Week opening ceremony May 10. During the week, the 35th SFS will reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The squadron will host activities to strengthen relationships with the community and fellow peace officers from the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Navy, Japanese Air Self-Defense Force and Japanese National Police. Events include a vehicle and weapons demonstration, children finger printing, an Air Base Defense Challenge competition and a dodge-ball tournament.
