Misawa K-9 team demonstrate team work
MANAS AIR BASE, Kyrgyz Republic -- Staff Sgt. Manuel Garcia and Jimmy, his K-9 partner, along with another Airman provide a demonstration to 15 first graders from Kelechek Elementary School during a school tour here. The group visited explosive ordnance disposal team, the K-9s and the fire department. Sergeant Garcia and Jimmy are assigned to the 376th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron and are deployed from Misawa Air Base, Japan's, 35th Security Forces Squadron's K-9 unit. Flat Stanley flies with Misawa Airmen
070216 -- BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Capt. Jeffrey Campbell, 332nd Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, holds up Flat Stanley after completing a mission over Iraq. Flat Stanley, a member of Mrs. Principata's 3rd Grade Class of Stephens Elementary, Burlington, Ky., flew a combat mission with Lt. Col. Ken Madura, 14th Expeditonary Fighter Squadron, in aircraft 91-0400 for 3.1 hours. Flat Stanley has been traveling the world for several months and will soon make his way back to school.
