Basic life-saving combat skills
Senior Master Sgt. Timothy Dye, 35th Maintenance Squadron munitions flight, and a student in the Expeditionary Combat Skills Training, serves as a wingman while he practices rescuing a fellow airmen. Joseph Teodoro, 35th Aerospace Medicine Squadron aerospace and operational physiologist, sets up the Reduced Oxygen Breathing Device version two at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Aug. 21, 2012. The X-Plane 9.0 and ROBD 2, which are the two pieces of the hypoxia familiarization trainer, were brought to the base two weeks ago. Beach Bash
Teams line up and prepare to begin the fitness challenge during the first Survivor Challenge here August 31, 2007. Fourteen teams challenged each other for the first prize of $2,000; however, it was the 35th Communications Squadron team that took the prize. Events consisted of the fitness challenge, bag toss and puzzle, canoe course, water balloon launch, taste of Japan, emperor's challenge, and knowledge challenge.
