Accidents hurt, motorcycle safety doesn't
Motorcycle riders at Misawa Air Base, Japan, are reminded to don proper personal protective equipment and ride safely during the motorcycle season. The mandated PPE for riding a motorcycle, in accordance to Air Force Instruction 91-207, is a certified helmet, eye protection, long pants, over-the-ankle footwear, a long-sleeved shirt or jacket, full-fingered gloves, a brightly colored vest or jacket as an outer garment during the day and a reflective upper garment for dark hours.
