This is a great time of the year. Except for the last snow event, spring is in the air, and with it comes a chance to get outside to enjoy the warmer weather.

We recently kicked-off motorcycle season, and we ask all motorists to pay extra attention while navigating the streets on and off-base. If you do ride a motorcycle, be sure you wear the proper equipment.

The warmer weather will increase the amount of time children spend outside. While they may not always be focused on you, you should always be aware of them. If your children do ride bikes, skateboards, or roller blade, ensure they wear the proper safety gear to include a helmet.

Although we have not yet entered the 101 Critical Days of Summer, safety is something we must incorporate into any activity year-round.

Please take the opportunity to get outside and enjoy the springtime weather, but do so safely. Have a great day Misawa.
