During 2016's 2nd quarter, 18 Misawa Airmen received nonjudicial punishment under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice. Commanders used the following as a means of punishment, rehabilitation, and maintaining good order and discipline.

Nonjudicial Punishments (Articles 15):

A senior airman received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-3, 45 days extra duty, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 86, UCMJ, failure to go; and one violation of Article 107, UCMJ, making a false official statement.

A senior airman received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-3, 45 days extra duty, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 134, UCMJ, Drunk/Disorderly; discredit to service.

An airman first class received a reduction to E-1, forfeiture of $738 pay for one month, 45 days restrictions to the limits of Misawa Air Base, 45 days extra duty, and a reprimand for one violation Article 92, UCMJ, dereliction of duty.

A technical sergeant received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-5 and a reprimand for one violation of Article 134, UCMJ, obstructing justice.

An airman first class received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-2, forfeiture of $300 pay for two months, 45 days restrictions to the limits of Misawa Air Base, 21 extra duty days, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 128, UCMJ, assault consummated by a battery.

A staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-4, a suspension of 30 extra duty days, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 128, UCMJ, assault consummated by a battery.

An airman first class received a reduction to E-1, 30 days restriction to the limits of Misawa Air Base, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 134, UCMJ, indecent language.

A senior airman received a reduction to E-3, 60 days restriction to the limits of Misawa Air Base, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 92, UCMJ, dereliction of duty.

A senior airman received a reduction to E-3, 60 days restriction to the limits of Misawa Air Base, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 92, UCMJ, failure to obey a lawful order.

An airman first class received a reduction to E-2 for one violation of Article 112A, UCMJ, use of Schedule IV or V controlled substance.

A staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-4, 16 days restriction to the limits of Misawa Air Base, forfeiture of $535 pay for two months, and a reprimand for two violations of Article 134, UCMJ, Drunk and disorderly; indecent language.

An airman first class received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-2, forfeiture of $206 pay for two months, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 90, UCMJ, disobeying lawful command.

A master sergeant received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-6, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 128, UCMJ, assault consummated by a battery upon a child under the age of 16.

A staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-4, forfeiture of $325 pay for two months, and a reprimand for one violation of Article 107, UCMJ, Make false official statement; and one violation of Article 134, UCMJ, drunk and disorderly.

A staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-4 and a reprimand for one violation of Article 128, UCMJ, Assault consummated by a battery; and one violation of Article 134, UCMJ, threat, communicating.

An airman first class received a reduction to the grade of E-1, a suspension of forfeitures of $738 pay for two months, and reprimand for one violation of Article 111, UCMJ, drunken driving.

An airman first class received a suspended reduction to the grade of E-2, forfeiture of $878 pay for two months (suspending one month), and a reprimand for one violation of Article 113, UCMJ, misbehavior of sentinel.

An airman first class received a reduction to the grade of E-2 and a reprimand for one violation of Article 92, UCMJ, violation of general order.

Discharges:

An airman basic received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) Administrative Discharge for Misconduct: commission of a serious offense.

An airman received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) Administrative Discharge for Misconduct: drug abuse.

Two airmen and two airmen first class received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) Administrative Discharge for Misconduct: pattern of misconduct.

An airman received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) Administrative Discharge for Misconduct: minor disciplinary infractions.

An airman and two airmen first class received an Under Honorable Conditions (General) Administrative Discharge for Unsatisfactory Performance: failure to maintain fitness standards.

An airman and an airman first class received an Honorable Administrative Discharge for Conditions That Interfere with Military Service: mental disorders.

Misawa Civilian Adjudication Program (MCAP):

A juvenile U.S. Navy dependent was issued a permanent driving revocation as a result of driving on a suspended USFJ Form 4EJ.

An adult Air Force dependent was issued 20 hours community service and a 365-day driving suspension, as a result of eluding and attempting to flee from security forces.

An adult U.S. Navy dependent was issued 100 hours community service, and is permanently banned from sponsoring anyone onto the installation, as a result of sponsoring on an individual that she knew to be under a barment order.
