Misawa welcomes the holiday season

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan --  Misawa Air Base hosted multiple events to celebrate the begining of the holiday season. The annual tree lighting ceremony kicked off the events.  Families enjoyed carols, hot chocolate and admire the hand crafted holiday greeting cards that surround Risner circle. The 21st Annual Bilateral Cultural Gift Exchange was hosted at sollars the following day to give American and Japanese children a chance to build relationships and interact with one another. The day concluded with music from the Northern Air Defense Band at the Richard Bong theater.
