Wild Weasel of the Week: Senior Airman Myrick

Each week a member of the 35th Fighter Wing is selected as the Wild Weasel of the Week. This individual is recognized based on superior performance, outstanding work ethic, and overall good conduct and discipline.

The 301st Intelligence Squadron chose Senior Airman Myrick, an intelligence analyst, as its Wild Weasel of the Week.

What's your daily mission?
Conduct in-depth analysis, characterize findings, and teams with mission managers to develop viable mission strategies and analyze multi-source data enabling execution of multi-phase operations supporting Overseas Contingency Operations.

What do you enjoy about your job?
The people I work with.

Why did you choose to serve in the military?
To travel around the world.

Who is your favorite mentor and what did you learn from them?
Tech. Sgt. Nolan, who has taught me to better myself in all facets.

Time in Misawa:
2 years.

Time in military:
3 years.

Greatest accomplishment?
I coach the youth flag football team on base and we won the base championship.

Goals you want to achieve or meet while in Misawa?
I'd like to make staff sergeant my first time WAPS testing.

Hobbies:
Gaming

Dream duty station?
Germany, I always wanted to visit Europe.

Favorite movie?
Lord Of The Rings

If you could spend one hour with any person, who would it be and why?
Markus Luttrell, to talk to him about adversity and everything he has been through.
