MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- U.S. Air Force firefighters from the 35th Civil Engineer Squadron respond to multiple scenarios during an Operational Readiness Exercise at Misawa Air Base, Japan, May 5, 2014. They face simulated missile attacks, hangar fires and perform first aid on injured Airmen as part of a week-long exercise. OREs are held quarterly to test the 35th Fighter Wing's capability to respond to wartime scenarios.
