MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airmen process through the transition area as part of an Operational Readiness Exercise, May 5, 2014. Before departing to their designated sectors, Airmen begin each shift by checking into the TA to receive the latest updates regarding mission-oriented protective posture levels and simulated chemical contaminations around the base.
