Misawa personnel participated in several events during a Resilient Airman Day at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Sept. 29, 2014. The day began with a silent walk in support of sexual assault awareness, which included personnel from numerous units from U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy. Throughout the rest of the day, Airmen attended classes that addressed financial investing, retirement and debt reduction. The day concluded with a driving-while-under-the-influence simulation and a speed mentoring session during which attendees spoke with senior leaders about topics like career progression and education advancement.
