MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- More than 175 American and Japanese dignitaries and family members attended the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Dec. 2, 2014. Families enjoyed live entertainment, squadron holiday card contest and lighting of the tree, a tradition dating back to Dec. 4, 1980. The First Sergeant's Council also provided hot chocolate and cookies for attendees at Risner Circle to celebrate the first snow fall of the year. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Tong Duong/ Released)
